About the Owners (current and former)
Hugh Smith is tug boat captain who works on the west coast of Africa. He bought Gitana from the Delano estate after Kent died from Alzheimer's. 35LN15 may have sunk twice in hurricanes. Hugh is doing an extensive refit and plans to sail her to Texas for Christening and thereafter to Malta (as of January 2020).
